Early History

J. Glasgow Trucking Inc. was founded in 1976 by Johnny Glasgow and is headquartered in Vernon, AL. Johnny started driving one truck, then got another... and through honesty, integrity, and hard work, J. Glasgow Trucking grew under his leadership and continues to be a regional leader in the transportation industry.

Johnny's dedication to keeping his truck and additional trucks on the road led to him servicing and repairing his own trucks, eventually leading to the establishment of a truck and trailer parts company, Truck and Trailer Parts, Inc and the service and repair department of Glasgow Trucking.

Johnny credits his faith, the support of his family, starting with his parents James and "Snoots", his wife, Diane, and his children, Jeremy and Nickie, as well as the grand kids for its success through the years! All have contributed to the 40 plus years of success.

Even after retiring, you can still find Johnny with a wrench in his hand as he keeps busy in the shop or fills in wherever needed.

J. Glasgow Trucking Inc. and J. Glasgow Towing, LLC.+

Jeremy Glagow

From a very young age, Jeremy had a close relationship with his father and grandfather, learning about fixin' and repairin' trucks, discovering what can go wrong and does, plus trailer repair, and safely keeping trucks on the road. Not to mention, he gained hands on and valuable skills in mechanic work and maintenance. He quickly became a skilled hand and took over shop management for his Dad, taking on the increasingly bigger jobs and gaining valuable knowledge about the trucking business. Although trucking was a huge influence on his life... you could also find him racing in his teen years... WINNING RACES WITH CAR #7 (jglasgow7)

About five years ago, Jeremy saw the need for dependable towing for the local semi-truck market, and and driving public. J. Glasgow Towing, LLC has not stopped towing since and continues to expand into bigger markets.

As president, Jeremy has returned the business to over 40 trucks on the road and growing, and is focused on continual growth and improvement.

With his extensive experience and expertise, Jeremy is able to offer solutions or to improve any company's transportation needs through the J Glasgow Trucking bundle of services.
